The various products from Lattice3D are:
1. XVL Converters: XVL Converters translate all major CAD and 3D data formats into XVL, typically compressing 3D models 1/20 to 1/250. However the company has also achieved up to 1/1000 (95%-99.9% compression). XVL Converters access CAD models through the respective CAD system, and achieve breakthrough ultra-compression by expressing the model as highly compressed 3D surfaces that maintain both high accuracy and the visual integrity of the original data.
2. XVL Converter Scheduler: XVL Converter Scheduler and Manager schedules and manages XVL Server Converters and facilitates automated processing of newly converted files including downstream publishing, vaulting, and secure distribution across the enterprise. When linked to XVL Server Converter(s) and XVL Applications, XVL Converter Scheduler and Manager transform Lattice software into a full 3D Publishing platform for maximum workflow automation and integration.
3. XVL Player: XVL Player is a free downloadable 3D visualization tool for XVL data files available in plug-in versions for Internet Explorer or Netscape. Once installed on a user's machine, XVL Player enables users to browse and view 3D XVL-enabled web pages and/or to view 3D XVL models by embedding the XVL Player as an ActiveX control in any Microsoft Office document.
4. XVL Player Pro: XVL Player Pro is the professional version of XVL Player. XVL Player Pro includes all of the functionality of XVL Player plus advanced engineering capabilities such as: measurement, cross sectioning, and data visualization analysis.
5. XVL Studio XVL: Studio is a family of technical authoring applications for 3D Publishing & Communications. Our ultra compressed XVL format coupled with automated interference detection provides unmatched performance for even the largest of models. This application is ideal for non-CAD users who need to 'explore' the model. Key benefits are design review via digital mockup, improvement in communication, life cycle management and solving the multi-CAD problems.
6. XVL Signer: XVL Signer is a security tool for XVL data that limits unwanted access to the 3D data, using National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) acclaimed Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption. The XVL Signer administrator defines three levels of usability for the user group: to view, measure, or edit XVL data while other users are prohibited from seeing or modifying the data.
7. XVL Notebook: XVL Notebook is a freeform document creation application that enables simple and highly intuitive communications by combining 3D data, 2D images, parts lists, assembly structures, any other structured data, markup text, and graphics into a single document. XVL Notebook 3D documents are typically small enough to be emailed and they are fully cross referenced for collaborative problem-solving, workflow and process planning, training, design review, and other communication exchanges with 3D designs or products.
8. XVL Web Master: XVL Web Master makes publishing of intelligent 3D information into light weight, fast loading 3D web pages as simple as selecting a template and clicking a button! It has never been easier to communicate with interactive 3D parts, components, or complete products - with or without exploded parts views or animations.
