Ravi Chilukuri, Director of Global Practices since 2013, has years of engineering design experience in automotive, transportation, high tech, aerospace and consumer products. In his current role, Ravi is responsible for developing business and technical solutions for opportunities across multiple industry verticals, as well as identifying and establishing practice areas. As practice head, he is also tasked with introducing new service offerings to various industries by expanding EASi’s portfolio and enhancing the brand value of EASi as an engineering services company. Before being promoted, Ravi served as director of engineering and head of global practices. He began his EASi career in 2000, when he established EASi’s CAE team in India. Ravi’s efforts supporting automotive interiors design and development on the Ford Taurus was recognized through the Society of Plastics Engineers Award in 2008, and he also has been recognized by the American Society of Engineers of Indian Origin (ASEIO) for his contributions in advanced engineering. He has also published and presented in international conferences and technology events on advanced simulation, predictive methods and developmental approaches supporting product design. Before joining EASi, Ravi was a project engineer for IDAM, a novel approach for product development, in bringing to shape the flagship multi-utility vehicle at Mahindra and Mahindra. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University and master’s degree in Engineering Design from the PSG College of Technology.
