MBD with AUTOSAR Specialist – Tools/Methods/Process

Tools: Embedded C/C++, Mathworks MBD tool suite, AUTOSAR, Dspace

Skills and Abilities

  • Should have minimum 5+ years’ experience in software development in C or C++
  • Utilize the software development and build process and tools for configuration management and debugging
  • Understanding of embedded hardware and software design
  • Use AUTOSAR configuration and development tools to integrate application software components with basic software
  • Experience with AUTOSAR and related tools
  • Understanding of embedded hardware and software design
  • Experience with within an MBSE development environment
  • Extensive knowledge of MBD using the Mathworks MBD tool suite
  • Experience with Dspace or other rapid prototyping environment via MBD models
  • Experience with Simulink and code generators
  • Understanding of vehicle diagnostics and network communications protocol and tools
  • Understanding of Powertrain/Chassis/Hybrid, EE+Body Controls
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Help in representing customer’s production and proof of concept software architectures within the Mathworks suite of tools
  • Create working demonstrations to develop common methods, processes and best practices
  • Develop and publish best practices, methods and processes around MBD
  • Leverage and enhance existing methods, procedures and processes using model based tools to develop and produce production code
  • Decompose complex systems into reusable software components and control algorithms
  • Support integration with commonized MBD tools
  • Support project based work in areas that demonstrate technologies and motivate alignment of production teams.
  • Support tool alignment activities in areas such as virtual validation, customers’ Product Lifecycle Management system, GitHub, Continuous Integration, knowledge sharing and Agile development using JIRA
