EASi's Quality Manager - Engineering and Scientific, has the responsibility for the development, implementation, measurement, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in an Engineering and Scientific Services organization. Major areas of emphasis include process quality and consistency, compliance to applicable regulations and standards, developing quality process indicators and oversight of compliance and requirements, management of change and productivity.

The Quality Manager will focus their efforts on EASi's Service Management Framework for the acquisition of Engineering and Scientific Services, but will also interface with the other Program and Delivery Managers throughout EASi in order to leverage improvements and best practices.

This position requires strong leadership and communication skills as well as a solid understanding of the quality processes and services operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement performance metrics (process capability, first pass quality, etc.) for monitoring and measuring performance of our services.
  • Partner with internal leadership to prioritize process quality improvement opportunities and robust Root Cause Corrective Actions to quality deficiencies.
  • Advise and coach respective EASi Program/Delivery managers to ensure quality compliance and continuous improvements in Quality Control & Quality Assurance
  • Drive quality systems advancements at each manufacturing location through robust Root Cause and Correct Action Analysis (RCCA).
  • Implementation of the Quality Strategy and Vision in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide Quality Leadership to the business in addition to interfacing with Customers and various internal functions and champion and drive a portfolio of product and process quality improvement efforts to increase productivity and provide a platform of competitiveness.
  • Provide a clear and actionable interpretation of the regulatory requirements. They will also be a key contributor to the implementation of improvements to meet the regulatory needs.
  • Influences the services process to ensure that project execution is within the standards established.
  • Act as the key business process owner for Management of Change, Customer complaints, and Customer Audits

  • 4-year B.S. degree in Engineering or Science
  • 10 years Quality Management Experience
  • Prior experience with services preferred.
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Individual must be a very capable leader, able to influence employees within all levels of the organization
  • Ability to communicate and build effective relationships with various EASi functional and business leaders in order to drive change within their respective areas.
  • Highly self-motivated, with ability to make independent and informed decisions
  • Solid knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, DFSS, Lean). Certified Black Belt preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of System and Product Regulatory requirements ( ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 / ISO 14001 / cGMP / etc)
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
