The Program manager- EASi Knowledge Management will design, develop, implement and manage a comprehensive program to develop EASi's expertise in the Utilities industry. This role requires a keen sense for the big picture while balancing near-term objectives with a strong program management and administration background. This role will also lead the creation of content, curriculum and delivery method for our engineers and designers in various centers

This individual will have a strong background in building and managing programs that are learner central and focused on application of knowledge in a problem- centered experiential learning environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for executing the overall competency development strategy to meet EASi's business needs on time and within budget
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and SME's to analyze and assess developmental needs for multiple engineering/non-engineering groups and provide solutions
  • Design, implement, and present curriculum and learning content materials and programs
  • Design and implement effective methods to measure employee's competencies, assign the corresponding level of training and confirm retention of knowledge
  • Build EASi's knowledge bookshelf in the Utilities Industry
  • Review and approve products created within authoring systems such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate
  • Manage instructional technology to include authoring systems and learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Blackboard or similar systems
  • Work with key stakeholders in functional groups to constantly evaluate and optimize content and methods to achieve key outcomes
  • When necessary, source and facilitate external learning and development vendors to meet learning & development requirements
  • Work independently and provide feedback to direct manager for evidence-based decision making

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Masters in Education is required and a PhD is preferred

    • Curriculum Design and Development
    • Instructional Systems Technology
    • Organization and Individual Performance Improvement
  • Candidates must have at least
    • Five years of experience in a similar role overseeing design, development and implementation of a learning/knowledge management program
    • Eight years of experience in program design and development leveraging online, in person and hybrid learning tools.
    • ISPI HPT/CPT Certified in Performance Development

Requisite Abilities and Skills
  • Ability to apply learning theory to a project to determine applied learning efficacy
  • Ability to utilize a DIF survey to determine training status of content
  • Ability to interview team members for experience with applying learning theory
  • Ability to determine scope of a person's ability to develop on-line training
  • Ability to develop a JTA when necessary, e.g., Distribution and other EASi services
  • Ability to effectively manage people in a team environment; has requisite People Skills
  • Project Management Skills and experience
  • Performance analysis and assessment background
  • Experience with and knowledge of authoring systems such as Articulate or Adobe Captivate
  • Experience with learning management systems such as Canvas, Blackboard, etc.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SCORM, Tin Can as well as 508 Compliance
  • Working familiarity with Quality Matters Rubrics
